Fox Flight Market Night

Fox Flight Market Night is a comic that features magic, squabbling fox sisters, a dark forest and a fantastical night market. It’s fun and silly, and my longest comic so far, 56 pages in total (including covers) - now up and available on my shop!

The story is about two shapeshifting fox sisters, Sam and Dot, who sneak into a (human) night market and the adventures that ensue.

The comic was inked by hand using a dip pen and painted in watercolour, with some digital adjustments to make the illustrations ready for print. I had to kick off the self-doubt goblins a fair amount during the making of this project (and side-eyed myself a bit as traditional format can take so long) - so I’m really happy to have pushed through, it feels quite surreal to have it printed and in a finished physical format!

Fox Flight Market Night has been reviewed on Broken Frontier. Thank you so much to Lydia for the lovely article! You can read the review here: “Review: Fox Flight Market Night – Enter a Whimsical, Warm World of Magic Courtesy of Beastly Worlds”.

There are certain things I wasn’t able to depict in this story which I’d love to develop in future tales about Sam and Dot, so stay tuned as more of this shape-shifting fox family’s backstory is unveiled in future tales.
