Xunxunmimi Album Art and Book Illustrations

Christine Welch, also known as 克麗絲叮, quickly gathered fame in Taiwan for her covers of Chinese songs and her own original songs written in flawless Chinese. She has since gone viral for her song 一 百萬個可能 ／ A Million Possibilities in mainland China as well. I met her while studying in Taipei, and was so happy to be asked to provide artwork for her album and book.

Christine’s Book / 克麗絲叮的尋尋覓覓, (2014) tells the story of her path to Chinese language fluency. The book is a collection of her Chinese song lyrics and poems, with English translations, accompanied by my watercolour illustrations.
